The pattern that launched the tight-line nymphing revolution. Developed by Czech competition anglers in the 1980s, this curved, heavily-weighted caddis larva imitation is designed to tumble along the riverbed in fast currents. The shellback and segmented body perfectly replicate free-living caddis larvae clinging to rocks.
