Sexy Walt's Worm

A modernized version of Walt's Worm with a UV dubbing body and a glass bead for subtle weight and translucency. The curved hook and shaggy dubbing profile imitate caddis larvae and scuds — two of the most important subsurface food items in trout streams worldwide.

History

The Sexy Walt's Worm was developed by former Fly Fishing Team USA member Loren Williams — a Pearl Sulky Tinsel–ribbed variant of Walt Young's original that gives the drab pattern just enough flash for western tailwaters. Devin Olsen adopted it years ago and calls it one of his confidence flies for the West's toughest tailwaters. Whether in size 10 or 20, it works.
