Regs — check current rules before you go

Gold Medal designation below Dillon Dam: artificial flies and lures only; bag and possession limit 2 trout, minimum size 16 inches. Catch-and-release is strongly encouraged to maintain the trophy fishery. Avoid wading through or near spawning redds — visible gravel nests in shallow water must not be disturbed. A valid Colorado fishing license is required. Access to Green Mountain Reservoir tailwater may be restricted during weekdays for security.
