Regs — check current rules before you go
Idaho fishing license required. Trout limit 6 per day with 2 over 20 inches. Cutthroat minimum size 12 inches. Special regulations on certain sections — check IDFG rules annually. Extended season through winter on some sections. No bait on all South Fork sections. Motorized boating restricted in canyon. All Class III rapids sections require proper floatation and experienced rowing.
