Missouri fishing permit and trout permit required. Missouri Department of Conservation Blue Ribbon Trout Management Area from Relfe Spring to the Big Piney River. Public access covers roughly the lower three miles; the upper three miles to Relfe Spring are private and require landowner permission. Verify current MDC special-waterbody regulations before fishing.
