About Patagonia

Patagonia, the Ventura, California-based outdoor company founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, has made fly fishing products for more than three decades. The fly fishing line includes stockingfoot waders, wading boots, vests, and technical apparel, with a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility and long product life.

Patagonia is privately held and in 2022 transferred ownership to a trust and nonprofit structure that directs company profits to climate and conservation efforts. The fly fishing line continues to emphasize durable, repairable, and responsibly sourced waders and apparel.
