About Thomas & Thomas

Thomas & Thomas was founded in 1969 by Tom Dorsey and Tom Maxwell in Massachusetts and remains one of the few American rod-makers building both bamboo and graphite rods under the same roof. The company is based in Greenfield, Massachusetts, where every T&T rod is hand-built, blank-to-finish.

The rod lineup spans dry-fly trout rods, saltwater rods, Spey rods, and a continuing bamboo program. T&T rods are known for refined cosmetics, a reserved hand, and the kind of small-shop attention that has made the company a fixture in destination shops for more than fifty years.
