About Tibor

Tibor is a Florida-based fly reel company founded by master machinist Ted Juracsik. Tibor reels are hand-built in the United States and have a cult following in saltwater fly fishing — particularly for tarpon, permit, and bonefish — across the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and beyond.

The company is privately held and known for the Everglades, Riptide, Spring Creek, Pacific, and Gulfstream series. Tibor reels are widely considered among the most durable cork-drag fly reels ever made, and many guides have fished the same reel for decades.
