About

Rising Fish Fly Shop is a locally owned outfitter in Victor, Idaho, serving the Teton Valley and the surrounding waters of eastern Idaho. Positioned on the quieter western side of the Teton Range, the shop provides direct access to the Teton River, a spring-fed freestone stream renowned for its large native Yellowstone cutthroat trout, as well as the South Fork of the Snake River and the Henry's Fork. The Teton River receives less pressure than many of its neighbors, and Rising Fish has built its reputation on guiding clients through the meadow sections and canyon stretches where solitude and quality fish coexist.

The shop floor is organized with a working angler's efficiency. A large fly wall features patterns tied by local professionals and organized by drainage, making it easy for visiting anglers to stock up before heading out. The rod and reel selection is carefully chosen to match the demands of regional waters, with an emphasis on mid-weight setups that handle both the delicate dry-fly presentations required on the Teton and the heavier nymphing rigs used on the South Fork. Wading gear, packs, and accessories round out the inventory. The guide staff consists of full-time professionals who fish the valley year-round and can tailor trips to specific interests, whether that means chasing cutthroat on technical dry-fly water, swinging streamers for aggressive browns, or introducing beginners to the fundamentals of reading water and managing drift. The shop also offers seasonal reports and trip planning assistance for anglers who want to build multi-day itineraries covering several of the region's diverse fisheries.

What Anglers Say

“My nephew and I did a one day fly fishing trip on the South Fork with WorldCast Anglers. We had a fantastic experience. The fishing was good. Our guide (Brenda) was amazing. She was such a good teacher and knew exactly what to do to ensure we caught lots of fish and had a great time doing so. Lunch was also very good. Strong recommend.”

“My husband and I came in August and the weather was beautiful, we saw eagles, moose, ducks and caught lots of fish with our awesome guide Ryan Christensen! We fly fished on the snake river in section 1 & 3 and caught multiple rainbow, sucker fish, white and brown fish.”

Maegan p.

“Our company did our annual fishing trip with Worldcast this last Friday and Saturday. Just as in years past (even before you were Worldcast), your guides were great with each of my employees. I have always appreciated the guides with Worldcast for their professionalism, patience, and their interaction with each of us on their boats, and of course, their ability to get us into some great fish. We had a good weather day and a not-so-good weather day that didn't change their efforts to get each of us into those fantastic South Fork of the Snake River trout. Respectfully Greg Hansen”
