Asay Creek is a small, cold tributary stream near Hatch in Garfield County, feeding into the upper Sevier River drainage close to Panguitch Lake and the Markagunt Plateau. Dixie National Forest land borders much of the creek above its confluence with the West Fork.
This is tight, technical high-elevation water holding brown and rainbow trout. Snowmelt from the plateau keeps it running cold through summer. A USGS gauge above the West Fork confluence tracks flow.
Access follows forest roads off Highway 89 near Hatch; check current Dixie National Forest signage for public parking.
